This large sleigh basket begins on a wooden frame and weaves up with dyed round reed and maple, as well as natural flat reed.  This basket includes a number of weaving techniques including twining, triple twining, three rod wale, inside out three rod wale, decrease rows and a Gretchen border.  Bells must be added  after you have stained your basket and base. I do not have a source for the base.
