After I unpacked and reorganized after Stateline Friends Weaving Retreat<\/strong>, I spent a few days putting my class materials for Weavin’ Up North<\/strong> together, shipped my materials for the Conference of Northern California Handweavers<\/strong> and then I wove!<\/p>\n

Ahhh, my hands were happy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I needed to weave up some class samples-<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Voltage<\/a>, just needs to be lashed and<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Stars and Stripes <\/a>needs the star tie-ons.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

SouthWestern Work Basket<\/a> – I wrote this pattern many years ago, it’s still one of my favorites.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

On the mold –<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Twizarr <\/a>– ready to be rimmed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Leather and Lace Tote<\/a>– love this base! You can find the tutorial for this continuous\u00a0weave filled basket base\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And I played with some new ideas. My favorite base – herringbone. Don’t you love all this color? Now to figure out what to do with it.<\/p>\n

Another base<\/p>\n

Coming up the sides – I think this one may be a keeper.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And I played with paper<\/a> and diagonal twill.<\/p>\n

It\u00a0was a good week, but now my week of weaving is over. Today, I head to Weavin’ Up North in Bemidji, MN! I am looking forward to it, I love teaching as much as I love weaving! Hope to see some of you there!<\/p>\n
